The old abandoned A66 provides the lead into one of the Lakes most majestic and dominant peaks, the road would have provided an unforgettable entrance to many a first time visitor especially on summers afternoons like this one when the sun and clouds paint the landscape.
With the aid of front lense tilt and keeping the film plain vertical on a large format I was able to capture close forground to distance focus.
